The BBSRC funded iCASE studentship will be focused on genomics of Atlantic salmon with a view to the aquaculture industry and will provide an opportunity to conduct cutting edge research into copy number variation (CNV), which is potentially of dramatic importance to the future of marker assisted selection in animal breeding.
