Optimate is our custom built software and lies at the heart of all of our programmes. We use evolutionary algorithms to run millions of potential breeding scenarios and identify the best possible outcomes for high performance, whilst controlling inbreeding and loss of genetic diversity. Optimate can even handle complex situations such as group spawning species, where direct crosses are not possible.

Ximulate

Every single one of our breeding programmes is unique, designed from scratch based on a customer’s exact requirements. That’s where our advanced bioeconomic modeling and simulations come in. How many traits should you try to improve? How many individuals are required? Should I use pedigree selection or genomic selection?
